As required by law, each parent must provide financial support to his or her child, even when both parents are divorced. Child support is often a contentious issue between most parents, as there can be tense disagreements over each parent’s financial situations. Enforcing Non-Payment of Child Support
If the other parent is not paying child support, you may be able to pursue a civil contempt action against the non-paying party.
